My Mamaw White was an avid flower gardener with just about anything that would grow in Arkansas surrounding her little granny house. And, back in the 50s when I was a blossoming little gardener myself, my Mom raised and sold African violets and a few other types of gesnariads. So, needless to say, I was smitten by the Plant Bug myself. The story has a great ending, though. Ive lived happily ever after!
