I am a front-yard vegetable gardener, mainly tomatoes, beans, peas, and leafy vegetables. I have recently started to be more active with figs and two apples. My fig collection has increased to five varieties in 2011 from just one variety last year...Celeste, Latarulla, Sal's, a large green and a large black, both of unknown variety.
