My interests are wide and varied. My interest in gardening is recent and is a development from my interest in creating a sustainable society. I want to learn to use plants to stabilize and enhance our environment and, in doing so, our own lives. My major interest in plants right now is in edible plants and developing new food plants so as to provide enough food crop diversity to tailor food crops to the growing environment rather than force the environment to produce unsuitable crops.
