Garden on a .3 acre city lot with a cottage style house built in 1937 so beds are informal and "cottagey". Try to plant things that will feed the birds and provide them cover. Along with some very old standard size fruit trees, have planted many dwarf and semi-dwarf varieties of fruit trees and a large raspberry patch that are all producing. Have four varieties of crabapples and over 50 varieties of roses. Have been using drip irrigation on all my garden beds and highly recommend it to others. Gardening is a passion!
