I remember my german grandparents growing heirlooms in the backyard and being forced to eat em and would hide them off my plate and secretly try to throw them in the garbage cause I couldnt stand the taste ( what a waste)but i did love the sauce we had every other day it seemed.Now My taste buds have changed and cannot live without a home grown tomato on my plate!The only ones I throw in the garbage are the ones my wife buys in the store (YUK) Mark
