My husband is a great gardener but making rows straight was not a priority with him. (After all, cant one get more into a row by making it crooked?)

With my humble (lol) expertise of patiently cultivating and prodding him to make rows straight over many years, I am very HAPPY to report that our garden rows of vegetables, fruit vines, and trees are now magnificently straight and attractive. :) Hallelujah! So ladies, dont give up...keep at it and what you say to your husband just might eventually take effect.
