I have lots of shade in my backyard. I have a black locust tree, considered a pest, but has flowers with the best fragrance, I highly recommend it. I am always looking for fragrant hardy plants, flowers or greenery, that don't mind the shade and dry conditions. The birds that frequent my feeder are squirrels, cardinals, chickadees, gold finch, house finch, blue jays, mourning doves and more.
