Moving to a solid ruin of a Federal brick house in the Hudson Valley: the reno is (finally) almost complete and I begin thinking about a garden. I've no aim to imitate a "period" garden but I'd like it to feel appropriate to the old house and the mostly old village where my half acre lies.
