Hi there all, I am a long time gardener (30yrs +). my main gardening experience is vegitable gardening. I love growing my own vegitables and talking to fellow gardeners. I have recently taken a intrest in shade gardening as my property is mostly oak trees and I cant even get grass to grow...LOL. I have 4 kids and 2 grand kids (makes me feel old..lol). I was not able to get the kids into gardening but hopefully I can get the grandkids into it. My favorite sections are the vegitable garden section along with the seed exchange and plant exchange but herbs a shade forums as well. If their are any gardeners within my local area I would enjoy hearing from you and sharing tips, plants and info with you. Happy gardening Mark
