I live in the St Ben s/Roscoe Village part of Chicago, bought a 2-flat with a small yard a couple of years ago, and have been busy "fixing" the backyard ever since! I m going for a cottage garden look, and determinedly plant anything and everything that s supposed to attract bumblebees.....just something about those fat, bumbly little guys.
Because I don t have nearly enough space for gardening, I m thinking that next year, the lawn is out, it ll be transformed to more gardening space. Sometimes, you just have to do what you have to do. This is my first year of attempting to grow plants from seeds, so we ll see how things turn out......(fingers crossed!)
