I'm an "over 50" gardener who is very interested in almost anything having to do with horticulture. I work in a garden center and teach classes on various subjects. I also study at Longwood Gardens when possible. My garden is an ever developing part of my life. I have several raised beds, a lovely pond with tropical waterlilies and lots of other plants, a white garden, lots of herbs, perennials, vines, garden art etc. My library of gardening books and periodicals is ever expanding! The biggest thrill this year is that we are just finishing (this week, I hope) building our own greenhouse!!!!! A LIFELONG dream! Now I just have to learn to manage it (trial and error, I'm sure) like most of gardening. Looking forward to meeting other enthusiastic and knowledgable gardeners!
