I live in the South West of WA, I bought my first house nearly 2 years ago, and am slowly getting the garden how I like it, replacing many "boring" easy care shrubs with roses and perrenials, I don't think the previous owners liked gardening, I have replaced nearly everything that they planted (besides the established hibiscus' and other small trees - which I love).
I have become a addicted to roses - actually the whole garden in general, but roses are my weakness. I hate it if I can't get out at least once a day to have a wander around, and then usually find something that needs doing, even if it is only pulling a weed or two!
