I live in a suburb of Columbus, Ohio and my husband and I are currently trying to turn a plot of hard packed clay into a beautiful garden. We moved into our house in November 2001. On our website you can track our progress so far. I love plants of all kinds, perennials, trees, shrubs, bulbs. I love them all. So many plants and so little yard! Why do all of my favorite shrubs grow 8 feet tall and wide?
