My back yard backs up to a forest preserve, and I'm enjoying the challenge of designing a garden for the shade! The previous owner left lots of ferns, hostas, hydrangea, and lily of the valley, along with Jack in the Pulpit and Trillium. It's a joy to be out in the shady yard, even on the hottest days!
