I am 64 years old and have spent all my working life in horticulture, teaching, lecturing and advising on all aspects of growing. Always found this to be enjoyable and most rewarding mentally. It is now my ambition to get children interested in growing plants so that they may enjoy the true taste of fresh produce and the enjoyment of growing some food for themselves.

I am an elected member of The Institute of Horticulture.
