Pgh, PA. Bought my house 1996 - gardens were non-existent or infringing woods/weeds. Gradually landscaped and added garden beds. Focused on perennials and wildflowers (shade) but always added annuals because perennials were taking so long to get established. Perennials are established but are somewhat standard. Now, I'm looking for more unusual plants tho, I have a love and loyalty for my old standards. I'm especially interested in building up a fern collection in my shade garden.
