My dear departed grandmother first got me interested in gardening. She always asked me to help her tend her precious roses; her daughter, my aunt, raised me and she picked up from there. She taught me mostly vegetable gardening and that spiders are the garden protectors.

Later on in life, I expanded my knowledge of plant keeping by simply reading, reading, and experimenting; sure, plants had to die before I became a better keeper. My interest are landscaping, aquatic/koi ponds, english gardening styles, standard and miniature violets and so on, and so on. I continue to read up on new varieties of plants being offered every year and new techniques of keeping my garden beautiful.

My love GOD, animals and nature in general keeps me pretty happy.
