I garden using woody foliage plants for an all-season array of color, texture and structure. Conifers of all varieties are a major part of my garden, but I also use a lot of maples, Southern hemisphere plants such as Leucadendron, Grevillia, Leptospermum, Phormium, etc, as well as California natives.
