My daughter gave me my "name" because I love flowers and the grandchildren call me Nanny. In 1988, I quit work to stay home and enjoy my yard. In 1995, my husband and son built me a hobby greenhouse. In 1996, I was diagnosed with a degenerative muscle disease called inclusion body myositis. It's a little like ALS but progresses very slowly. I've had to cut down on what I can do in the yard, but still enjoy my greenhouse.
