I began a flower garden in 1997. I have a small yard, but have managed to grow many of the old fashioned flowers that I love so much....peonies, iris, phlox, crepe myrtle, tulips, daffodils, and lillies (oriental and day lilly). Just this past summer, I tried container gardening with roses, elephant ear, and a banana tree...I also love coleus and morning glories.I have 2 grown children, a daughter and a son. I am very proud of them and we are very close.
I just found gardenweb in Oct.2001...I love it! I have met some wonderful gardeners and learned a lot!
