Moved into my rented house 'bout 6 yrs. ago and began to beautify my surroundings; I hear-tell I'm now a good source to visit, "just'cause it is pretty here". Many of my beds are hand-dug using a butcher knife to remove sod 1'at a time. I probably have 50 varieties by now; and a garden plot 40 x 40 with hollyhocks surrounding it on three sides. When inside the privacy is very personal and peaceful. Now the perennials are all established within the space and stepping stones meander thru. I can't wait'til this growing season to see the results; lots of $$$$$ out there! I took advice from a wonderful source in Canada: info@thegurugarden.com, found thru the Garden Web. I do expect to be moving the new babies around for appearance's sake and it will be my pleasure to do so. What better place to spend time but with ya'll and pretend I'm in everyone's blooms???!!!
