like to grow my own fruit-for jams etc- and herbs--with a preference for unusual sub tropical fruits and herbs.am very much an 'intellectual gardener'-- having busted a couple of lumbar discs-without a labourer offsider to do the hard yakka-- i believe this climate cooks tender plants and grow deciduous fruit trees to shelter things-- am very interested in the chemical properties of compounds found in the various herbs.
I enjoy reading the posts and using the info from the gardenweb members and give priority to things which produce for me and the wildlife or is very beautiful.
