We raise horses and most of our place is so fertile you can drop a seed and stand back or get knocked over. There is never enough time for fussy flowers or veggies but we always enjoy a variety. Plenty of stuff for birds and butterflys. Lots for kids to plant and pick. We like scented flowers. Our veggie garden has gotten smaller but we are hoping to increase our berry and fruit varieties for pies and jams and other preserves.
