I grew up in a farming community in WA's wheatbelt and have always been interested in nature. Gardening grew into a passion only after my husband and I built a house. Nearly 10 years down the track and I have a beautiful garden plus 3 dogs, 1 cat, 15 budgies, 14 chooks and two gorgeous kids (the husband's still hanging around as well). I am also passionate about sustaining life on the planet and I consider that there is one way that I can influence this and that is by being a gardener for other people. I only using sustainable and organic practises and regimes in the gardens I maintain with fabulous results (I know they're fabulous coz I'm still employed). Last year I started working towards my Certificate III in Horticulture and presenting talks to Perth gardening clubs about preserving biodiversity above and below the ground in their home gardens using sustainable methods. I could go on and on but you did say 'tell us a LITTLE about yourself' so I'd better stop here.
