I started out (for real) about ten years ago and am completely self taught, doing it all by trial and error, which means mostly error. I have one and a third acres of what I like to think of as \"cottage garden\" style, which DH says is overly optmistic. I do organic herbs and veggies as well, in my own version of square foot. This year I am trying roses, yet again. Love all the forums!
