I'm interested in small scale farming, and I frequent the market garden forum. I manage a small produce garden and woodland both of which are expanding. I'm not afraid to try something. I have hacked back huge overgrown boxwoods, survived and lived with the mangled remains until they grew out. I have smiled at the neighbors when they thought I'd lost my mind. I have been attacked by wasps (in said boxwoods), fire ants and assailed by beautiful pictures in catalogs but not surrendered.

My favorite plants are exotic, anything unusual or rare has my attention, especially vegetables. Just don't report me to the customs agents.
