We live on 9 acres of woodland southwest of Madison, Wisconsin. I am a teacher and woodworker, and my wife is an acupuncturist. We are trying to clear out the woods from invasive buckthorn, prickly ash, garlic mustard, and other invasives. Trying to figure out the best way to do this and still encourage the "good" stuff growing. We have a beautiful and large patch of shooting star, as example.
