My husband and I are disabled senior citizens. I have breast cancer and will soon be going through radiation therapy, every day for about 6 weeks, in Bend which is about 45 miles from my home. My husband suffers from COPD. We are trying to grow as much of our own food as possible due to our limited funds and are trying to only eat organic vegetables and fruit and the best way to do that is grow it ourselves.
