I am a VERY passive composter. I throw in materials as they accumulate and turn a couple of times a year. I have a very neglected worm box that seems to have supplied my entire yard with beautiful red worms. The box is full of worms, but the surrounding areas have far more worms than I had ever seen before establishing my worm bin.

My yard is large, with heavy clay for soil. I am trying to ammend one area at at time. I plant a veggie garden every year, and give away most of what I grow, since I don't eat veggies.

I am a single mom with a beautiful, special needs, four year old that is the love of my life.
