We live in a small suburban Maritime NW site. Our garden is only a few years old. Gradually, the yard is being replaced by garden, with vegetable plots, rose borders, small fruit trees, fuit shrubs, and vines, herbs, and ornamentals. Mostly these are mixed together.

We are learning to garden organically, and trying to nourish nature as well as help nature to nourish us. We have a worm bin, we compost our scraps, collect coffee grounds for soil amendment, and practice "puttering meditation" whenever possible.
