I have a very sunny studio apartment in Brooklyn, New York. As a city dweller, I appreciate gardens so much, but am new to growing house plants and herbs myself.

Right now I have some ivy (doing good), jade plant (very happy and doing well) and a sad douglas fir. I'd reallly like to grow a rosemary bush, a bay tree, and maybe some orchids. I may have to give away the fir tree if my cat continues to eat it.
