I've been an avid gardener for several years and have an array of different perennials. I consider myself a lucky person to have had a neighbor that enjoyed gardening, shared a few plants with me and started something that I've grown to love. Since that time my neighbor has moved but the plants that she shared with me still thrive. Amoung her favorite was the wild violet, she had them tucked everywhere. I've found them a bit invading and pluck them constantly to keep them in check, but have maintained the small grouping that she shared with me. I always think of her when I see the blue and white blooms each year. She was a special lady and I'll always appreciate the love for gardening she left with me. I've also found a new love ~ ponding. If your not familiar with the term you need to check it out. My husband & I put in a pond a couple years ago. We now have a host of koi, goldfish and bullfrogs which add a special touch to our garden. Amazing how fast goldfish reproduce ~ Do you swap them here also??!!!!
