Bought our first (small fixer-upper) house in 2009. Spring 2010 was all about constructing raised beds for vegetables, and planting small fruit trees and bushes. Fall 2010 was a bathroom remodel, all DIY, with the help of my very knowledgeable FIL. Now it's spring 2011 and I'm planning the garden for summer, and seeing how the perennials maintain a year later. Looking at a kitchen remodel fall 2011, and starting the daydreaming well in advance.
