Born and raised in Iowa, and now residing in Virginia for the last 5 years. I have two little ones that keep me on my toes all the time. They both love to smell mommy's flowers and watch the butterflies and bees that frequently visit them. We're hoping to see some hummingbirds this summer.

This is my second year gardening and I was addicted pretty much the first time one of my seeds popped out of the soil-- in the middle of winter. I have been reading and learning non-stop since I started. I just can't seem to get enough information and gardenweb has been intrinsic to this. I can't believe the wealth of knowledge out there.

Last winter was my first year trying wintersowing and it was a pretty goo dsuccess as I still have plants on my deck waiting to be transplanted in the fall, but I still love using my florescent light set-up in the dead of winter. Nothing like seeing a see of green on a cold winter day.
