Hello! When I was about 8 years old, I would gather ferns from the woods behind our house and transplant them into...well, whatever I could find. I suppose it was my step mom's glass canning jars most of the time. (I was born with the garden gene). Time went by, I grew up, and suddenly I had an idea-Why not plant my perennials at work? Yah, I'll take care of the garden beds and then I can start my perennial collection. Apartment living...no garden space. More time went on, house living now, and now...ah, yes, and now I have a perennial garden, to say the least, 10,000 sq. feet of garden. I especially love variegated plants, and the unusual.
