Hi,

Just joined this site Feb.15,2004! I joined for the money-saving tips forum, just to converse with "thriftsters" like myself. Now, it seems, there are many other areas of this site to explore (getting my money's worth), I guess!

Have daughter and son in their teens. Keeps me busy but, that wasn't why I had them .... Hmmm. Sometimes I wonder.

I live a while away from Old Sturbridge Village. A historical re-creation of old New England life circa. 1830's. Have loved that place since I was a kid. I'm very interested in how my New England ancestors lived. (Daily activities, sustenance gardening, paying taxes.) Seems eveythings changed over 170 years except the last part!
