I love to try things that push the limits of what will grow in my area. I consider myself a habitat gardener. I love hummingbirds, butterflies, birds, bees, ponds, frogs and anything else that crawls, slithers, or otherwise makes any suggestion of movement! I have a live and let live, totally organic approach to gardening, and if it cannot survive the pests, than it was destined to be food for them! I am a RMT who does not have time to work, due to the wonderful demands of gardening! I am a Georgian transpanted to Texas. I often find myself homesick for the green of Georgia. However, I do my best to just keep adding green to my own surroundings. I guess I must have a green thumb, because I do not think I know the first thing about gardening, but I never seem to kill much of anything. It was the same for my mother. Maybe that is one of those rare wonderful things that just was passed down. I hope to pass it to my daughter someday.
