Im very passionate about garden plants of all sorts, especially the unusual and exotic. My garden has undergone many many changes over the years as my collector tastes shift around over time.

Currently, Im focussed on antique roses and bamboos, but that doesnt mean Im not interested in anything and everything unusual and pretty as well!

The most spectacular plants in my garden this year are a large grass-like plant from Australia, Xanthoerrhoea quadrangulata, that flowered for the first time in its 14 or so years of time in my garden; and a large Restio, Chondropetalum tectorum, which makes a very impressive display.

My first Bamboo, Himalayacalamus asper, is really beautiful this year, now that it has grown into a more sizeable clump.

The most numerous of my many garden plants, the roses and grasses, are here and there and everywhere in my garden; the roses to please me with their color and fragrance, and the grasses with their extremely graceful forms!
