I'm letting my 8-year-old daughter write this for me. My mom is a newspaper editor and she has two children. We've lived in our house in the Conejo Valley, in Southern California, for one year and if I need to know where my mom is I always check the garden first. She's even gotten my little brother interested in gardening. My school's close to a garden center so she's always picking me up with new plants in the car. That's my mom!
