I have lived mostly in cities and now enjoy living in a small country town.When I bought this house 12 years ago there was no garden at all,it had been a rental and it only had weeds.Now it is a tropical paradise,no grass anywhere, just plants and fruit-trees.I added a pond and have 3 different varieties of frogs.I rescue the eggs before the toads or fish eat them and breed them to a size that they can look after themselves.I hunt toads at night,I hate them with a passion and the first year I lived here I killed 734!Yes,I kept a scoreboard near the back door, second year 600 and every year fewer.I have snakes and lizards too but they are welcome!
