I am a transplanted Texas farm girl. I love house plants, edible, ornamental, and flower gardening. I am planting new beds around my backyard and it is a large area. I am mixing it up as a I love cottage gardening. I like to plant companion plants and am learning more about that. I hope to soon start a compost pile and I want a rain barrel. Most of the plants I have planted are perrenials and I began seed gathering last year with help from my neighbor who is a member here. I look forward to learning to use the forums and being a member in this friendly and knowledgable community!
