I am interested in a productive garden, that is, my plants need to either produce food or provide lovely, wafting fragrance. :-) I am aware that the resources on this planet is limited.
I love the PNW weather that permits lots of fruits and vegetables a long growing season.
I also like to propagate plants so I can get them pretty much free, also, it is so very gratifying to be able to give.
I learned to do that by a casual discovery. I was shocked to discover that the fuchsia that you pay $16 dollars for a hanging-basket can be started by pinch-and-stick in the mud (I did it!!). It might take a year for them to get to the size of the hanging basket sold but I am saving my money!
Thats how I got hooked on plant propagation.

I am itimidated by trades: I dont know much so I dont know if I have anything that I can offer. So bear with me. Thanks!
