I am a 37 year old mother of three living in Silver Spring, Maryland. My kids range in age from 1 to 8. We also have a 26 year old au pair from Brazil living with us. Our kitchen was finally completed in January 2006. We enlarged our kitchen by borrowing space from the dining room and knocking out an exterior wall and enclosing an existing screened in porch, which increased our kitchen from a 12x12to a 14x27 space.
