As of Oct 2005, my wife and I are in the midst of a large renovation/addition of a 1840s cape in Essex, CT. We are acting as the general contractors.

We are replacing all of the mechanicals in the entire house as well as adding a master bath and kitchen.

Any and all words of wisdom are appreciated.
