I'm in my early 50's my huband and daughter and myself live on about 16 acre farmstead.
We have livestock ,horses,sheep,a few cows ,donkeys. we have chickens,geese,ducks. We have a garden each year trying to "put-up" for the winter .We are very interested in self-sufficient living as much as possible. I work off the farm and my husband is retired. We home school our daughter. She love the horses and other animals ...She's a farmer in the making ! I train stockdogs for farm and trial use. My husband and daughter trains horses and donkeys to drive .We have fruit trees and blueberry bushes and other berries. We are thinking on making the move to Mo. or other similiar area for a larger farm 50-150 acres. This is one of my dreams! Slower pace ...enjoy and smell the roses alittle along the way. Now everthing the rush and hurry .
