I am a homemaker with a 6 1/2 year old son & a 19 month old son who typically loves just plain helping me do anything. I love flowers and the look of a house that's well landscaped but I tend to stay very busy with a wide variety of projects. I am ADHD so I also tend to have multiple projects started at one time. We just recently moved from the city (Baton Rouge) to a small town ... naturally closer to the Slidell area that Katrina all but flattened. She managed to snap & uproot 6 trees in our yard(2 being 150-200ft pines). We are just now starting to get things back in order. Thankfully none of the trees touched the house & only one damaged the shop roof. However, from all the flying pine cones & limbs, our house needs a new roof as well I'm told. Oh the joys of dealing with insurance. That & Red Cross sent a letter stating that our area wasn't found to be affected by Katrina. Life will go on and that I'm happy to say my family & I have!
