I moved into my first house in May of 2003- too late to start seeds for that year. The house had absolutely nothing except some roses in the back yard that were not well tended to and a lilac bush in the back corner. THERE WERENT EVEN ANY BUSHES IN THE FRONT BEDS- JUST DIRT!! The house had been empty since late fall/early winter and I swear to god the previous owners must have dug up all they had and took them with them and didn't even bother to fill in the holes! So I spent the first summer getting a few bushes for the front and cleaning up the mess they had left in the back yard.

Anyways, this year I am rearing and ready to go! I got some seeds started and can't wait to build the beds they will go in!
