After working 30 years and at the age of 50 I was blessed with being able to retire. I have a great husband,2 grown children and 5 grandkids. I enjoy gardening and have been learning to do some canning. My husband and I are working on building a chickencoop and plan on getting baby chicks come spring. Ive been a lurker for about 5 years on the gardenweb. I never joined because I was afraid I could become addicted and not get my work done on my job. I look forward to being a member of the GW.
