I am now sharing the house with my mother where I grew up. she is 85 and I am taking care of her,the house, and the very involved gardens. We have 85 roses, 35 camelias, over 200 orchids, not to mention herbs,, iris, geraniums and the rest. California allows us to grow just about anything, and often plants wil propagate themselves, likethe impatiens! Our yard is divided up into quandrants if you like, so each part of the yard is very different from the rest. Since I have been here,I used to have 5 acres in Idaho were I grew nearly all my own food, including eggs and meat. I have had to relearn the California seasons, plants, nusances so any help I recieve will be greatly appreciated!
