I moved to 11 acres, mostly pasture, in SC in 99, from San Francisco, looking for seasons and hills, but not the extreme winters I grew up with in VT! I am still learning how to cope with the humidity and the BUGS!!!, after 8 years of gardening, both veggies and flowers. I have 2 cats and a foxhound, and I used to be a professional horse trainer, teacher and did some breeding, but now ride friends horses.
